How was Scotland? Did Jonathan get on well with your friends ie. the horses? How was the 19k walk??

Well helloooo! :D

Scotland was FAB!!!! We had so much fun. I was going to write a review in the weekend post but forgot :?
On Friday we arrived in Perth, my mum had come with us on the plane, the first time she's flown in about 35years bless her! The flight was fine though, I think she enjoyed it ;)
Had a lovely carvery on the Friday, then an early night.
Saturday we drove to this little village in the mountains called Pitlochry. We got a bit lost in the hire car and it ended up taking 2 hours, when it should have taken an hour :!: Had a nice lunch, then done a mini hike up a hill, through these woods, coming out at this gorgeous waterfall, 60m above the ground.
Sunday was the best day :P Horse riding in the morning! Went to a little village called Creiff for this. Jon's horse was called Bud (how appropriate) and mine was called Dodger. We went on a hack (a ride outdoors basically) up all these hills and through countryside etc, again took some fantastic pics! Jon's horse kept eating the grass and Jon looked so funny trying to keep it under control   Don't worry Ive got more pics which will be uploaded soon ;)
Then after horse riding we went to another little village called Killiecranke (!) and done an 8mile walk along the banks of the River Tummel.... OMG this was gorgeous! Think of that film "A River Runs Through It"... thats what this was like. So peaceful and beautiful scenery.
Then Monday we went to Dunfermline for the day, saw a few sights and done a bit of shopping, then home Monday night.

We both had such a good time, I'm definately going again. Jon even said I'm allowed to do horse riding now once a year - YAY! :D

Pitlochry is lovely isnt it Bec, glad you had a good time :D

What did you think of Dunfermline? From what I remember, not one of the nicest places around....

Wow Bec, sounds great. :D Do you feel revived by all those wholesome pursuits and ready for a good destroying??

Pitlochry is such a lovely place, when I go back I want to go to Aviemore though and look at some mountains :D

Dunfermline was ok, it was really a stop on our way back to the airport. We had a walk around the old Monastry, and went into St Margarets cave there so it was quite interesting.
