Hi.

I wondered if any of you have any advice on the pro's and con's of selling products on the beaches and streets of ibiza.

from what i gather, without a license it will obviously be illegal to sell items like little souvenirs etc. on the street... but my question is can you get away with it if your very careful and dont take this piss?

what would happen if u do get stopped by police/guardia?

i know the obvious reply will be "dont do it!" but im just trying to get an idea of how easy/difficult it is and how serious the authorities are about it.

these are perhaps questions for those seasoned in ibiza who have maybe firsthand experience of this, but any info welcome...

:)

I don't know if there is some kind of turf with that stuff. I would also suggest to be prepared to get shaken down and searched by the cops.

the african geezers in Barcelona tend to have a lookout - when they think the po-man is on their case they quickly wrap up their counterfeit sunglasses and (equally breakable) rambo action figures in shawls and then melt into the crowd.

as stephen said, unless you've paid the undercovers to look the other way.

there is a going rate that would probably make it not worth your while.
