the official opening of the music bar siniva, although is open already, is next saturday with the djs josé maría ramón, josé vizcaya (both from global radio) and jordi villalta (europa fm) :!:

siniva is located in avda. sant josep near the gas station and mcdonalds outside ibiza town, opposite the bars parador and astro. some of you might remember when it was the jazz club arteca!! :idea:

during 10 years siniva was located in ses figueres (talamanca) near hotel lux ibiza but it closed last winter, apparently after lots of problems with the neighbors. the funny thing is that the rock bar pub la kokotxa (during many years near hotel torre del mar in playa den bossa) is moving soon to talamanca where siniva used to be.......... the neighbors gonna love it!! :lol:

btw, siniva is open every night from 9pm to 4am :!:

· caribe in c. ramón muntaner, figueretas:
latin music club. open every day except on mondays. on saturdays it opens as an afterhours too.

· shanti shakti in c. ramón muntaner, figueretas:
lounge/restaurant open every day except on sundays. angel cielo (el ayoun) is djing there every wednesday from 9pm on the ladies night (which includes a special 14€ menu for the ladies).

· chaos in c. asturias, figueretas:
german-owned bar with classic rock music. open every day except on wednesdays and thursdays.

· spasmos on the promenade underneath the hotel ibiza playa, figueretas:
music pub.

· pub xenon + amadeus both in c. del quartó de pormany, es vivé (more info here)

· rustic in cas serres:
first time i write properly about my favourite bar. opened back in may 2003 this beautiful villa lost in the middle of nowhere quickly became one of the favourite spots for many people thanks to their eclectic music policy (from reggae to punk rock) and their concerts on fridays. even manumission chose this place for a special party at the beginning of october that year. during 2004 its popularity kept growing and they even added chillout/lounge music every week with josé maría ramón (global radio). open on thu/fri/sat.

· albatros on the beach next to the hotel tres carabelas, p.d.b.:
music pub.

· la cabaña in c. de pablo picasso, p.d.b.:
alternative rock bar.

· big ben in avda. pedro matutes noguera, p.d.b.:
music pub with dani becerra (40 principales) as resident dj.

· el sol + bar de mou in c. de les alzines, p.d.b. (more info here) *both part of the club kiss*

· locura in c. de les alzines, p.d.b.:
music pub (nothing to do with lo cura in ibiza town).

· garbi in avda. pedro matutes noguera, p.d.b. (more info here)

· luna in c. de les begònies, p.d.b. (more info here)

· top 21 in the jet complex, p.d.b.:
music pub.

· el cocedero on the beach next to the hotel don toni, p.d.b.: *

this winter*
beach bar with josé maría ramón (global radio/rustic) as resident dj and guests like java (pacha/space) among others. their saturday-night-till-sunrise house sessions are becoming quite popular. guest djs next saturday: igor marijuan (clubibizaradio), ernesto altés, etc. open on fridays and saturdays from 11pm.

· coolture cafe in the corner between c. pais vasco and c. asturias, figueretas:
breakfast/snack bar during the day and music bar at night, opposite croissant show (which opened some days ago). open everyday [from march 19th].

not the typical touristy bar but here we go with..........

· cafe alameda in c. formentera 13, figueretas:
jazz music bar run by toni, a passionate music aficionado that has been suporting jazz music with his bar for more than 10 years (long before the boom we are experiencing today thanks, in part, to the fantastic injuve jazz festival which opened the eyes to so many people). always a pleasure to spend a few hours discussing about music with this guy. open every day / all year round.

another bar that reopens for easter..........

· C.U.B.E. in c. pere escanellas, figueretas:
music bar, opened last year (previously it was the gay bar DJs). open on fridays + saturdays (from 5pm) and on sundays (from midday, including food).

· magnus along paseo de las pitiüsas, figueretas:
gay-friendly cafe, next to the new rumanian restaurant transilvania (previously known as the bull bar).

· paco's in avda. pedro matutes noguera, p.d.b.:
classic rock bar, next to saxo.

· marina's cocktail bar in the jet complex, p.d.b.:
cafe.

the restaurant el cocedero in ibiza town (c. pedro francés 6) closed for good around easter and at the same time they turned their new bar in playa den bossa into a restaurant (at the moment open fr + sa + su - noon till midnight)!! :idea:

like most music bars that during the winter only open on weekends, top 21 will be open every night from next monday :!:
