Barcelona to the ferry?

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to my current frustration...

How difficult is it to get from the airport in Barcelona, to any of the ferry stations? Is there a metro line, or is it close enough to take a cab?

Don't take a cab.

Take a bus to PLAÇA CATALUNYA, those buses are blue. The driver announces the name of the stops.
Once in Plaça Catalunya (the city center), you can take a cab (4 € aprox) or you can take the tube (Green Line - Number 3) and your station should be DRASSANAS, that will drop you at the end of las Ramblas. Once there I think the ferry is in your right (facing the sea).

there is a metroline too.

stops at the top of las ramblas too.

walk down to the end of las ramblas, turn right at the roundabout/traffic lights,. keep walking down this road, the ferry port can be seen after you walk past the first building.

Think the fast ferry is the 3rd or 4th building on your left, whilst walking down the road.
