Banks in Ibiza

Hope someone can help me... as I appear to be just as hopeless with the bank stuff as I am with NIE numbers! (Stephen!)..... :roll:

Anyways...if I'm staying in Ibiza for the majority of the year I'm thinking it wise I open up a bank account there! But when I return to Ibiza this week, should I take my English £ to exchange there or do it beforehand in the UK? Also, would you guys advise keeping an account in the UK AND in Ibiza? Any tips and experience would be very much apprec!!!! :P

All seems a bit complicated for me little head!!!! :roll:
 
come on lou............

keep your sterling account in britain.

open a euro account in spain - transfer your pounds bank to bank - you get a better exchange rate and if you're not in a hurry the costs are quite low.
