Bambuddha Grove

Mrs Jam & I went in 2003 and had a great meal :)
Great atmosphere and great food, bought the cd - the whole lot....

Went back last year and the food was horrible - the meat was fatty, and I felt it was overpriced for what it was.

We were sat next to a large group of 40something absolute tossers who kept speaking loudly on their phones (musical ringtones all over the place and playing 'who has the most Prada, Hugo Boss, D&G etc....

It really soured the experience and we left quickly without leaving a tip.... :(

It's a bit overpriced, but the ambience isn't bad.

They were a little snotty when we arrived 5 minutes before opening (asked us if we had a reservation.... the place was empty! )

I thought the food was pretty good, but I was a bit queasy from mass sangria consumption so I didn't enjoy it as much as I might have otherwise. :?

When I went, they happened to be doing a buffet which was really extensive and great value.

The restaurant was a bit 'themed' for my liking but it's nice enough. Although there are far better places to eat on the island.

I'm very much a fan of buffets
Too bad I wasn't feeling well that day, or I would have certainly gotten my money's worth 8O

Ive been a few times and enjoyed it more than not. Had one bad meal there. They do nice cocktails too. It is expensive but if your used to London prices you will be fine.
They do the buffet full time now and its good value if you like to eat lots and lots. Nice setting and usually good atmosphere. Make sure you wear some mosquite spray though.

What makes me laugh is if you check the Bambuddha website menus under the buffet option, check out the sexual act described. My missus was none too pleased when i suggested we try this out!!

If you had to pick your favorite restaraunt in Ibiza what would it be?? The best i've experienced so far has been Villa Mercedes.
