Balearic People or Hed Kandi?

THis is my dilema for the Saturday night during my stay 1st week of september.
What is the real difference for music, crowd, atmosphere etc??
:?:

Balearic People is a house party mainly with local or national crowd. Ceballos is a very good dj and the party use to be pretty cool. I had really good times there

mmm, some people told on here Hed Kandi stands for happy and vocal house. Is this really true?

In this case, I wouldn't hesitate: Balearic People.

They're totally different nights. If it's in-yer-face full on sweaty get-down party you want then go with Hed Kandi.

Mind you, I am a tad biased. :D

Thought I recognised the name........

but whats the real difference in music and atmosphere between the 2?? I get the impression hed kandi is like glam glizty 'disco' and commercial with lots of 'rich' people?? And Balearic ple is a bit harder with more an atmosphere like amnesia??? Or do I have that totoally wrong???
please advise!

Balearic People: majority of Spanish people, balearic house + Iberian Sound (house basically made in Spain). Hardclubbers and not so hard ones. Not the whole Privilege is open though.

Hed Kandi: I just heard it's basically vocal/happy house. So I think it'll be a mellower and not so hard crowd. But I don't mean it's worse. Simply quite a different atmosphere. However last year they got very nice reviews.

Balearic People all the way, not even something to be thought about. You cant get away from Hed Kandi at the moment in this country its in the clubs, its got its own radio show they have nights in bars every week,

wearas Balearic People is ibiza, when you go home people cant say they have been unless they have been to ibiza.

Suppose its the same as going on holiday and only eating english food,

You couldn't be more wrong there. In Ibiza, the kandi dj's tend to go harder than usual because of the crowd.

Sure we have our roots in happy vocal house and we do play it, but we gauge what the crowd wants and from about two o'clock onwards it was full-on in there last year, and probably more reminiscent of twisted disco, the base bar albums and CD 2 of the disco kandi's, rather than happy clappy disco heaven.

Just do a search of hed kandi last year on the forums if you don't believe me...

I'm sorry if I was wrong on that appreciation. I told that because all the people in the clubs I know with that kind of music aren't by far as hardclubbers as in other places with other types of house such as tribal, dark, etc. My apologies.

Went to BP last summer and thought it was pish, the music was alright but the crowd was a bit reserved and although there were a lot of people, privilege is so big it felt empty.

I agree with Collins, since Twisted Disco came out last month it's given us the excuse to play the most filthy traumatised tunes just when the crowd really want em! We still get the night going with a hefty dollop of disco glitter and hands-in-the-air, but by the end of it you feel like you've been "had" sideways!

I do entirely see the argument for doing something different whilst abroad, Hed Kandi is everywhere in the UK and you can catch a party every weekend somewhere. xx

One night I've never made it to is Made In Italy - does anyone have any info about it? Did anyone go last year?
