Armada closing

I believe i will be out there for the armada closing party. Went to the orange party at gods last week and was not too impresed with our man armin. He rocked at GKGG but was very dissapointed at gods. Anyone been to the armada nights out there.......any good?
 
I have heard that his night hasn't really taken off this year.

He is a up against carl cox who's night is one of the best IMO. If you enjoy tech house and techno, you will love carl cox's night, but you won't hear any trance there.

Well Armin is saying his night is a big success and that it will continue next year :

taken from his page and his dairy: Summer 2004 is a very different one for me. I started my own night at Amnesia at Ibiza, knowing that it would be difficult in these times. But the Armada night at tuesdays has been one of the best yet this year!! The amounts of people and the atmosphere has been incredible. Amnesia has to be one of my favorite clubs in the world. I challenge you to come and join one of the remaining nights (24, 31 of August and the 7th of sept.). Also, I'm proud to announce that the night will continue next year. Just got back from Ibiza at the weekend and a few of the ticket outlets in the West End were offering free tickets for Armada if you bought tickets for Cream (before the Tuesday night) which would suggest Armin's night may be struggling a bit.
 
Also went to the Armin only night and it was very busy.

Armin is one of my Favourite dj`s and i never heard him dj`ing Live so i will go, because i heard cox a few times before!

Went last Tuesday and it was a really good night. Good tunes, crowded, but not too crowded- there was room to actually dance. I'd definitely recommend it.
 
I ended up having the chance to see both Carl Cox at Space on the 17th Armin at Armada on the 24th.

Carl Cox really blew me away with his banging techno tunes and it seemed that the vide at Space that night was electric.

On the other hand, when I walked in to Amnesia for Armada night the following week, it just seemed bland and stale in comparison to Space. With M.I.K.E warming up, it seemed that only a handful of people were dancing and the club seemed very sparce. When Armin came on, things got a bit better, but even then the club seemed fairly empty :?. I even walked over to the terrace for White Ibiza Night, and the place was ROCKING! Not really sure why?!

Anyways, I got my ticket for Armada for free too, which i couldn't believe!! 8O . But I realized after that they must be pretty desperate to fill the place up. Not to mention, the vast majority of the people in line with me had all gotten free tickets as well. Go figure :?:

where di u get these free tickets......altho i doubt they will b free for the closing will they?
 
My b/f's fvorite DJ is Carl Cox, mine is Armin by a mile so it looks like we'll be doing different things this night! I'm not bothered if the club is not all that busy( although for the closing party who knows). armin is the only DJ who has never once disappointed me when I've seen him and I'm expecting great things of him at Amnesia :D

seeing armin 2 more days in my country so i'll report how he was ;)
and yes he hadn't disappointed me so far either, neither did carl cox though 8O

i have this problem....i like armin but i have been dossapointed lately......i really wanna go see cox but my mate will wanna see armin. tough call.

ps .... i see u go out exactly the sam time as us.......im so excited...u coming pacha for morillo on the 1st?

and that last time at DanceValley he was as the times before great.

(Although Coxy had the last bombastic set with all the lasers at the DanceValley)


But still, I need my dose of trance and thus will definitely be at Armada on the 7th with my girl

I went to Mambo Cafe shop to buy some t-shirts, CDs and posters, and the guy asked me if I was going to go to Armada that night since I had just bought the poster for it. I said, not really sure cuz i was leaving the next morning at 7am...but he comes back with a free pass 8O That changed my mind a bit ;)

But later, outside Bar M, all the PRs were offering free passes as well, so I guess this one guy at Mambo wasn't unique.

I doubt the closing party will be free :cry:
