While driving around in august I was shocked to notice so many hgv yards dotted around the island, there seems to be lots driving round in the summer the bin lorrys, car transporters, freight lorrys and seen a fair few construction yards for example cemmex.
Just wondered if anyone knows what the score is with winter work on the lorrys would it be feasible to plan to work bars in the summer and pick up hgv work in the winter when construction gets going again or even full time truck work? Are there driving agencies supplying the firms on temporary contracts or are these places closed shop where no chance of an English man robbing the local of his secure job?
I'm guessing being able to speak Spanish or Catalan would be a huge necessity.
