anyone ever blagged their way into the clubs?

We once made one of my mates tell the doorstaff 'he was the Sherminator and he wanted her clothes her boots and her motorcycle.' if he wanted to get in. The paying queue had about 100 people in it all laughing at him. He was not too happy.

Its a lot harder than over here but its possible. Space is nigh on impossible - never done it, but legend has if you are on the guestlist you need your passport to prove its you.

Manumission - depends on your 'ahem' social skills. Chat up a Manumission Girl, they can get guest passes - did this a couple of years ago - no way I was paying as I didn't want to go, I was just showing friends the 'spectacle'.

Also the guy who owns Privelege sometimes leaves signed, dated, business cards with in one of the Sunset strip bars - these get you in free.

Another tip, if it still applies this year - Privelege own (or use to) a bar/restaurant near pier/bus station. It is is Villa Mercedes or one of the ones in that run. Buy a Manu ticket there on a Monday and used to get a free Privelege guest pass with it, So... 2 for 1 !
Couldn't tell you if any of this still applies, but told a couple of people last year and the Villa Mercedes or whichever restuarant thing still did.

El Divino - Bobby & Steve's night last year - free and free drinks (Was with a known DJ). Went to another night there as a guest of Sonique - left early 'cos she was a pain in the ass.

Amnesia - free into Cream with Tall Pall, but left pretty damn quick, it was pants

You can sometimes buy guestlist places or passes off workers reasonably cheaply, particular as the summer wears on and they're running out of cash. Never pay up front for guestlist places though. Arrange to meet the next day to pay - you could get knocked back and the one time I arranged this for Moneypennys at El Divinio, the lad who sold me the places didn't show up to collect his cash after we'd got in for nowt.

Indeed Matt. Although, the reason I didn't name you as said DJ is that this board now has thousands of members, most of whom will be in Ibiza at some point this year. And trying to blag freebies. From you (now). :lol:
 
got into Amnesia for Cream free and VIP by saying I was coming with journalists who were writing about the night. et voila 9 free VIP guestlist places :P

Credit card/driving licence is usually ok. Every year though they'll claim at least one of your groups name isn't down and make em pay :evil:
 
Surely the only requirement to get in anywhere free there is that you're local? grrrr that's the only reason we have to pay so effin much cos the locals get in free... oh yeah i'm from Manc so does that mean i get in Sankeys free whenever - nice one. It's just like league of gentlemen... local clubs for local people...

well not really.

Plus in my experience having a VIP pass to Amnesia just means you'll be "relieved" of it at the door so it can be given to one of the local fluffers (Spanish or not)

I've never had to prove it, but I suppose it depends who's list your on :?

We got on the guestlist for Sundays at Space last year and had to take something with our name on it along, but a bank card was sufficient.

We got in due to 'contacts' made before going to Ibiza.
 
Had guestlists for all my club nights my first year, Godskitchen, Manumission, Essential Mix at Manumission, etc except for Cream due to contacts made before Ibiza. Manumission, I did blag my way in after telling some weird story about a certain rezzie of the club putting me on the list and I came all the way from Canada, blah blah blah. Needless to say, it was a lot of shite that saved me and my mates 60 euros each :)

im quite happy to pay, but if someone offered me a free g/list place (like roger did) id be flattered and would accept. :D
