Any advise for a DJ?

Hi all.
It seems to be that the thing to do is get in contact with the clubs to submit demo's etc. But if any one has any advice or contacts, I would really appriciate it. My girlfriend plays hard house, trance and tencho.

Unless you have been DJing for quite some time and are fairly well known, the likelyhood of DJing at clubs is not likely. Keep trying the demo sending though, you never know. Ur best bet is to try bars and just taking ur records and demos out there and showing your face pretty much here, there and everywhere.

There are thousands of DJs out there so persistence is ur best bet, but also kinda of a drawback. Most promoters and bar owners do get ticked off by DJs constantly nagging bout work!!!

Anyway, hope this helps, but as you can see its just like being back in the UK with regards to getting work!!

To be honest mate in less ur in the top hundren Djs they won't even look at you, try the west end strip you might get some work there
