I doubt this thread will get many (any?? :lol:) replies as i doubt anyone even know that in this little place called Canada there was an election today and as predicted the results are very depressing.:cry:

Conservative win (although thank god it was a minority not majority) which makes me glad that i'm out of the country for the time being.

Oh yeah and it was thanksgiving this weekend. Thanks for all your kind wishes! :lol:
 
I had actually heard that the election looked to be going the conservatives' way.

Sorry it didn't turn out as you'd hoped, but at least it looks like a good time for you to take off for New Zealand. Now you'll just have to stay there for one election cycle :lol:

And a belated happy Thanksgiving! (if you all up north celebrated it at the right time, we'd remember better :lol:)

Think of all the benefits....

1) You would replace celebrations of thanksgiving with that of bonfire night :)

I don't get it. Why do they have a different election from the rest of America? Is like a local council thing?
