Amnesia is simple the best in Ibiza if wether you want the latest Tunes or classics from back in the day, anybody who fails to visit that place during their stay on he island has missed a blinder. Tiesto, PVD, Mauro and many many more . . .

What else could you possibly want? Anybody with me on this?
 
i disagree with you. i don't rate it as much as you, but its an ok place. thank god everyone has different opinons, eh. ;)
 
Not to rain on your parade... but I disagree as well. Amnesia gets SO crowded and hot as blazes, that every time I have gone I nearly faint. Plus I think the DJ booth is up way too high... my neck hurts afterwards. If it weren't for the fabulous DJ's that visit and the huge blast of cool fog they have, there is no way I would set foot in the place most likely.

But since you obviously adore the place... that is all that matters!! :D
 
i loved amnesia!!!!!!!!! Cocoon was a favourite.....
that side room is one of the BEST spaces i have seen....

HATE that stupid smoke machine though.... :roll:
 
People from Ibiza ROCKS!!! Haven't checked out the rest of the parties though, so I can only agree with the Saturday night...
 
i love amnesia but i agree with pachagirl, the dj booth is way too high. impossible for the dj to really interact with the crowd there. but on the other hand, i love the venue and the icecannon... :D
 
I absolutely love the venue, and the terrace is great. Agree it does get too busy, but thats probably just on Cream nights.

However, when I was there in Septamber for Cream, they didnt use the dry ice machine once...was very dissapointed as I was with some folk who had never been to Amnesia so unfortunately didnt get to experience it

I was there for Cream closing on 15 September and the canon was used - were you there the same night :?:

the cannon definitely worked on 16th september. i guess it was one or two weeks before when it didn't work (i also heard this from another guy on this forum).
 
All in all Amnesia is the best club in the world... for me anyway ;)
No disrespect to Space, which is my second best club in the world :D
 
4 me, amnisia was 2 packed, 2 many beeb boys, and by far my least favourite place i visited in summer of 03, despit seeing tiesto, pvd and oakenfold on the same nite.
 
I was at Cream on the 8th Sept, and the ice cannon wasn't used, much to my sister and her chap's dismay. I'd been telling them about it and they were really looking forward to experiencing it. Must have been same night as you Fergie.
 
Amnesia is the best club ive ever been to,...Cocoon is just crazy!!,.. busy yeah but not as busy as cream!

i also thought they didnt use the ice cannon half as much as they did in previous years ive been.

my views may change as im hoping to visit Avalon in NYC next summer and saw some footage of it the other day and it look goooooood!!! :twisted:
 
I would rate Amnesia very highly but probably second to Privilage only because I loved the sheer scale of Privilage however I did only go once to the Manumission closing party which was awasome, other nights maybe less good?
I went to Amnesia once for the foam party which was an amazing (but not necessarily to be repeated) experience and once for La Troya which was also very good but I did find the terrace far too crowded and moved into the other room which I found less crowded and better music plus the dry ice - like going on the "pepsi Max Big one" in Blackpool without having to que for 2 hours :D

makka- don't get your hopes up about Avalon NYC- It's ok, but not great. It's an old gothic church that was converted to a club. It used to be the famed Limelight.

Space is my favorite club-
Anyone ever been to Ra at the Luxor in Vegas? Beautiful place with ancient Egyptian theme and architecture. Stunning place- they just don't have great clubnights unfortunately.

Yeah that was the night I was there. Had been telling some mates about the canon for weeks before hand, then when we were their it wasnt used at all...wasnt happy! :evil:

I had my place right under it all night in preperation :lol: :P 8)
 
Cant quite remember mate. Was right under it myself from about 2am till 5am. Don't suppose you saw four guys with very spikey hair wearing mainly vest?


...god that sounds funny :lol: :lol:
