Air con in jet apartments

Hi there?
has anybody from this board stayed at the jet this season???

I,m staying there this august and when we booked apparently you pay for the air con when you get there.

Just wondering how much they charge.....

hmm...I stayed in Jet 3 years ago and the Air Con was for free.

I will stay there this year again from August 26th on, so I am interested in it too.
 
Our tour operator told us that our appartment at Jet had Air Con and we would have to arrange payment whenwe got there.

I think the price quoted was 4 euro per day per person but I have not got the brochure in front of me so that may be wrong.

However, the price was irrelevant when we got there as the room did not have Air Con anyhow.

We queried this with reception and was told that the WHOLE of the block we were in was not fitted with Air Con !!

We were facing onto a pedestrian walkway down to Tahiti Beach bar with the sea to our left.

The bottom line is that only some of Jet has the Air Con facility. Prepare to sweat. . . . or drink a lot so that you just pass out !
 
we stayed at Jet 5th-15th July. The room had air con, which was actually confirmed when we book the room thru internet... no extra charge!
 
Well I´m staying in Es Pla (San An) and the website said aircon, they meant "aircon in the communal areas". Grr. Still, I just bought the cheapest fan I could find (18 Euros and a real quality item compared to the similar priced ones in the UK!), and have placed it on the twin bed next to mine so it´s a pretty decent substitute. Way cheaper than hiring one too..
 
Mmmmmmm some mixed replys there?? heres to hoping my block will have air con!!

Unless someones in for a rollicking?
not bothered about the price but i need me air con trying to sleep mangled in a room after a big night with a temp of 140 degrres aint no fun. :?
 
We stayed there between June 25 and July 6 and had air con in two rooms. OK, it was rubber ducked in one of the rooms and in spite of asking 3 times to have it fixed, Jet just ignored us. Guess we were just unlucky.

I think the deal is if you book thro Ibiza Spotlight then you are guarenteed air con....our rate was 130 euros per night for the big room which sleeps 5. No additional cost for air con.

Makes a big difference so I hope you get it!
 
Yes, my confirmation from Jet says that my room has air-con & that the total price is all inclusive of fees... Haven't got there yet but I expect it to be true.
 
If they confirm air con and dont deliver then say you will go elsewhere. Bookings are well down and in PDB you will find nicer apartments with air con for the same price. yes its a hassle but so is no air con when you sleep during the day in a room that faces the sun!
 
Got a email back today from jet which said not all rooms have air con??
and you are only guaranteed it if you book over the internet? :!:

I booked through a tour operator so it aint looking promising. it also said you can hire them as i was told in the travel agents but only if they have any spare at the time :(
so now i'm just waiting for a email to see how much the hire is?????
