Hello all. I'm arriving on the island on the 24th this month for one week, staying in den bossa, and am looking for some advice.

We have planned which nights/days etc we want to go to clubwise, however were unsure what the island has to offer in terms of bars/restaurants etc. Wheres best?

Also can you tell me where the best place in playa den bossa is to get tickets for the clubs?

How long does it take to get from den bossa to san an in a taxi and how much does it cost?.

Any advice in general.

I have only stayed in san an 3 times, so cannot comment on restaurants or ticket sales in PDB, but there is a good selection of resaturants in san an if you fancy eating around there. Just stay away from restaurants on the front cos they are tourist traps and the quality of food is crap. There are all the sunsets cafes in san an which are a must. Food is bit over priced but well worth it for the setting, especially if you get a table for when the sun sets, although you may have to be there a few hours beforehand! A taxi should take about 20-30 min from PDB but have no idea what they charge now cos the last time I went was a few years ago. Hopefully somebody who has been recently will give more details.

The best place to buy tickets in PdB is Tantra. It's on the main road across the street from Jet Apartments in the direction of Space.

If you're going to Space, get your tickets online here at Spotlight as it gets you in through the VIP entrance where the line is usually shorter. Same is true with Manumission at Privelege.

There are quite a few bars in Playa d'en Bossa but it's not the best place for pre-party drinking, in my opinion. The bars are a lot cheaper than other locations though, especially ones on the sidestreets

Ibiza Town harbor, less than 10 mins away by car, is the nicest place to begin an evening though the drinks there are usually a bit overpriced. Best places to go are further down towards the end (Base, Kube, etc.). Sometimes bars in the harbor will give you a better deal on tickets than in PdB as they'll sell you their complimentary tix (we were given free tix to the Penelope grand opening at one bar).

There's also nice restaurants in the D'alt Vila in Ibiza Town and some in the harbor area as well (La Brasa, La Oliva probably top picks). In PdB, I recommend Moorea's and La Dolce Vita.

It's about 20 minutes by car to San Antonio. I'm not sure how much it costs... the taxis are metered nowadays.
