a eureka moment

I am really messy and have to wear suit & tie for work, i have approx 20 different ties, all silk, all dry clean only, i get about 3 wears out of a tie before it needs cleaning, at £3.50 a pop it soon adds up, anyway the other day my g/fs mum said that you can wash ties in the machine, just roll them up and put a couple of em in a sock!!

so i tried it the other day with 3 of my "worst offenders" and blow me...it bloody works!!!! :p 8)

I must say that the standard of posts in open chat has improved 100% since the demise of that other forum. No longer will I have to lurk in www.sad-loner.com to keep up with what it´s like to be bored at work.
