Hi,
Me and a friend (2 females - 23 & 24) have just booked a week staying at Hotel Pacific in San Antonio. Both of us are Ibiza virgins and would appreciate any handy tips/advice. Anyone else going out from 24th September? :P

Hi Cat

Without knowing what kind of things you're into it's quite hard to offer suggestions. If you use the Search facility on here you can find people's opinions on things like favourite restaurants, best club nights, dress codes etc.

Also on the Clubbing section of the site there is the Clubbing calendar so you can see what's on at what nights.

The wk you're there is almost the end of the clubbing season, I'm there until the 27th and will be @ We Love Sundays Closing on the 25th. Other things you might want to check out that wk are Subliminal Closing on Weds night and Pure Pacha Closing on the Fri night. A lot of the other big club nights have already had their Closing Parties as they start from about 2nd wk in September but there will be plenty for you to do as all the bars etc are still open.

If you think of any other specific qus ask away, have a good hols ;)

Thanks Barbie.
We haven't really chosen Ibiza specifically for the clubbing. We just wanted somewhere that guaranteed us some sunshine and nightlife at the end of September, so it's good to know that all the bars will still be open. I've had a look around the website and it seems that the West End is the best place to go for all the bars. It looks like the temp's gonna be between 20 & 25C, so warm enough for a tan hopefully (better than England at the end of Sept anyway!!)
Thanks again

I'm there during the same timeframe! :D You can see my signature to find out where I'll most likely be (club-wise) during the trip. I've put together a list of restaurants, bars, and beaches that we plan (or at least attempt) on making it to. These lists were compiled mostly from reviews on this website/forum and other miscellaneous websites. PS: I got most of them from TigerVlc & Barbie so if anything is wrong it's their fault. :P ;)

Sa Punta - San Punta

Just a lil' correction mate!

San Punta does not exist, even there is not any saint with the name Punta.
Sa Punta is the old neighborhood below Dalt Vila with all the harbour bars, la Virgen Street, Alfonso XII with Dome, Lola's, Noctambula, etc. Well, I suppose you already know, but I thought I had to clarify this, don't intend to sound pedantic at all. ;)

Oooow! I always called that way!

what's Sa Punta then, apart from the bar of the picture?

sa punta is not a bar, its a restaurant in talamanca...owned by pacha,...theres also a very good one in the middle of T. la baraca...owned by amnesia  ;)

yes - Restaurante Sa Punta - Cocina mediterránea
Playa de Talamanca - Eivissa - Tel: 971 193 424 - (Abierto todo el año)

So Sa Punta is the long stretch of Talamanca instead of Sa Penya?
sa punta is just the area between ses figueres (la tortuga brothel, simbad hotel, etc) and cap martinet (water park, firing range, etc), although non-locals call it all talamanca!!
