I named this mix 1984, referring to the sounds of that time (Funk, Rock, Rap, house-music, breakdance) 1984 is also an eurythmic's track, an George Orwell 's movie, The Bmx, smurf dance, ect ect...


1984 is a symbolic year, because from this year it is the beginning of a new musical era which begins and announces the arrival of house music and Techno (the Breakdance's tracks are électronic and sound like Techno!)

there are some tracks that have been produced later that 'in 1984 but kept the spirit of those years (The Texican Lemon-Orange for example)

i remember watching smurf tv show, breakdance , trying to do "the éléctric man"...

The tracks "Rock it" was my first 7-inch "électronic" record.
