1 dead and other 11 people in hospital for adulterated GHB.

Today in the news are speaking about a 27 years old Irish guy dead and other 11 people in hospital due most probably to a batch of adulterated GHB, commonly known as liquid ecstasy (but not to do anything with MDMA actually). The facts happened, as they say, in a well known club in Playa d'en Bossa (surely Space).

The authorities fear there's the possibilitiy of more intoxications because of this batch of drug possibly still being dealed. So don't buy GHB in Ibiza. :!:
 
They also say some of the poisoned people were attended on a famous club on the road to Ses Salines, clearly DC10.

I'm sure some unscrupulous moron went to WLS and Circo Loco to sell his poison. :evil:
 
So it's a dodgy batch of gee bee? Someone isn't too hot with their home chemistry set? :?
 
Talking to my friend at the weekend who has spent most of the season out in Ibiza this year just chilling and a bit of clubbing (old school clubber who knows the score and has been involved in the scene since the days of organising warehouse parties back in the beginning).

He said his impression so far this season, is that the clientelle are a hell of a lot younger in the clubs this year - compared to what he has seen over the past years, he said he has observed people dropping pills at a rate of knots, it seems also as if the pills are a lot stronger and cut (according to a source on the Island - who is rather unscrupulous about what he sells and who too! :evil:)

Also, from a couple of DJ mates who have seen people during their sets in the clubs who appear to be a hell of a lot more monged than they are used to seeing and quite a number of collapses at the clubs.....(I am not talking just Eden and Es Paradis here either) These guys personal opinion is that they are a bit concerned about the possible reputation of the Island, because of some of the sights they have seen this year....

In a nutshell they said overall, they havent really enjoyed playing their residencies out there this year compared to past years....

Just a snippet of information from a few friends - not my opinion because I havent been this year before everyone jumps up in arms......
 
I'd never try it, it sounds horrible :? 8O

I just stick to what I know, I know what makes me feel good and what doesn't suit me ;) :D

(And no I'm not talking about crack or anything :lol: )
 
I advise against this substance, adulterated or not. The distance between the normal dose and the lethal one is the shortest of all the typical drugs in clubs. And it shouldn't ever be mixed with alcohol or other nervous system depressors such as K, as their effects are strengthened.

There have been more people in hospital for this stuff, 25 more or less, one of them, a 27 y.o. Spanish guy, had a heart and respiratory failure but he finally could luckily be revived.

Moreover, police controls have been intensified.
 
Done it a few times, wouldn't do it again. Can't say I had any amazing conversion experience that would encourage anyone to engage in something so risky. As above, a lethal dose compared to not is minimally different.
 
Never took it myself, don't think I could (the paranoia would probably get me) :lol:

Some people are being a bit judgemental here though.
 
When i used to hang around with this group :roll: . . . . . there was this one guy that took it at this b ar we were at and he kept going under :roll:

Cue about 5 of his mates having to keep dragging him to the toilet to sort him out :roll:
