the sun rises on the day of the summer solstice. as seen from the top of Primrose Hill, London.

russ is surrounded by druids and assorted hippies. freaky but nice

yeah, silvia. about 20 druids in full regalia, chanting (no naked dancing though unfortunately)

apparently, the hill has quite spiritual connections. as well as being the place that
a) the dogs congregate in 101 dalmations
b) the aliens landed in the book War of the Worlds

The only druid I've ever seen is the one in Asterix books. 8O


So, you live in quite symbolic place then, how does it feel?
 
regrettably, silvia, they were not quite as colourful as Getafix, more white robes over jeans actually 8O. the blowing on the shells was nice but i didnt think it proper to photograph them.

as for living there, i don't give it much thought. i can't 'feel' the ley-lines if that's what you mean

btw, this area is also the home of the yummy-mummy
