Weekend Plans

Had my big blowout last weekend necked far too many little fellas🤣

Cobalt studios in town - what a place first time i’ve been and wont be the last. Actually quite gutted i haven’t bothered until now!

Quiet one this weekend (like most have been so far this year, i’ve promised myself i’m calming right down) immune system all to f*** off the badness from last weekend and im riddled with man flu anyways

if I was in ibiza this weekend I'd certainly head to akasha to see sasha...

...but I'm in mallorca. starting into my 2026 hiking season this sunday with a first weeklong group trip. nice early start into another long season of hikes all across the balearics - can't wait. back in ibiza for all of march and will then also restart the weekly open hikes soon, I'll update the thread when it's all ready to go.
A week hiking in Majorca sounds incredible right now! I will be having a rainy cliff hike in Guernsey with a little sea swim thrown in. Looking forward to your weekly hikes when I’m over, hoping to get 2 in again 😁🏝️ il keep my eyes peeled in here

Fri - M & S meal deal, badly timed as I had to pick son up half way through the main. She ate on her own and mine went back in the oven for 20 more minutes... Who said romance is dead 😁

Been let down badly by a friend for a simple half-hour building job tonight (3rd night in a row) which I need doing before decorators do full house next week.

Sat - empty furniture out of as many rooms a possible to garden office.

Flight to Tenerife 😎 Hope she doesn't notice I haven't bought valentine day card or present...turns out romance is dead 👀😁

Sunday - chill? Run around after lad, practice with his new snorkel set for a back-packing trip next month.

Best mate is on the same flight out as us with his Mrs and kids. Will we end up out one night and MIL baby sitting 🤔

Had a romantic meal for one last night with some red wine and some nice music whilst practicing some Spanish, how times have changed…
Up early on the south coast cliffs in Guernsey, did some rock climbing and stumbled across a nice waterfall courtesy of all the rain, so I had a nice natural shower instead of a swim, very refreshing!

Looking forward to this weekend - getting out and about in London

Friday - Quiet, possibly a trip to Ikea.
Saturday - Attempt a park walk \ jog, then out for dinner and a cocktail making class in the evening.
Sunday - Head up to Brick Lane and Shoreditch for markets, possibly go vinyl hunting as there are some record shops around there

Still in Tenerife 😎

Fri - Fanabe to meet best mates/kids at a beach club. Went to Los Rocas beach club earlier in the week, which was a good setting and decent music but service was poor - hopefully Le Club I better today.

Sat - last day but bumped into another lad from home during week. Will meet up for Chelsea v Burnley game before the airport

Sun - an 8th birthday party at the swimming pool. Parents may need to go in 😅 Usually Sunday lunch out

Approaching year-end fever at work means every weekend is a blessing!

Tonight - Arsenal and pizza, of course!

Saturday - take kids to my folks, then to Ju-jitsu, then I'm off to footy. 12 games to go, need to win the majoirty to win the league, so every game is a cup final! Actual cup final on 14th March too.

Sunday - kids' rugby in the morning...then eyes down for NLD in the afternoon. No panic here, despite Arsenal's recent issues, should be back on track by Sunday night 👀

Weather good? A love it there for the all-year sunshine!
Been warm every day. Had a very light calima on Sunday but fine for being out and about, other than that blue skies 25degrees 👌

We're in Golf Del Sur, little quiet but good for El Medano/Los Abrigos/San Blas - booked Fanabe again for next Feb 😊

Been to The Wild Geese? My fave spot for watching footy with a Guinness 0.0!

my old manor... the cops routinely busting 93 Feet East in a former life, aah the memories

if you don't know the area check out Rough Trade which is pretty extensive for a good dig. (there are sometimes free gigs instore)

was shocked to find Big Chill closed down recently, real shame as that was a regular pitstop. I once died DJing there (2 minutes of total silence, flapping in a panic, out of my depth!)

Don't bother with Brick Lane curries, they're all tourist traps, each one with cut n paste evening standard 'accolades' on the windows. You're best off getting the lamb at Tayyabs down in Whitechapel for the real deal

Blast from the past- had my worst pint EVER in the Big Chill. We used to have one here in Bristol as well, was a great little place

My last visit to Bristol is pretty hazy but did involve a bar/club called "Kickers" Cotham or Clifton? 20+ years ago so I'm sure it's a Costa del Coffee now.
