We Love......Opening.....8 June!

Happen to come across this on their website! Seems they are not going the day after Amnesia Opening then! Sunday 8 June! A few things of note: Isn't the "We Love" font the old one they used to use years ago. And is their tag -line this season going to be "We Are We Love". I like it, but very "Revolution" - but then it is Safehouse management from this year I suppose. Anyone else thinking that We Love will evolve more to be like what Safehouse Management did with "Come Together" at Space a few years back. Maybe not a bad thing in a crowded Techno market.....

Yea your right about the 'we love' font, it's the same as a few years back. I've always thought the artwork for we love to be very good but have to say that's awful if that's what it's gonna look like for this year. Always take time to look at all the fliers of the nights/clubs, find myself looking at fliers and poster for ages. Kind of draw me in for some reason!?
 
"We Are FSTVL" "We Are Defected" enough of the "we are" 's already.

I get it. It's a sense of community, of being together, as one. But it's been done umpteen times before, and very recently as well!
 
let the music speak i'd say. i don't care about artwork or slogans when it comes to club nights.
 
When the lineups are released i'll talk about the music. dunno what it is bout the artwork tho, since my first holiday in Ibiza i've collected fliers etc. my deck room had so many on the walls, had to take them down and was gutted :(
 
We were talking about "slow June" on the other amnesia opening thread. One thing I would say is that if the promoters firm up and release their June line-ups ASAP then it may drive a lot more traffic to the island as people may book up. Brilliant move from Amnesia and I think more should follow....
 
Disclosure are playing 4 dates over the summer bringing different guests. It's called wild life.. Not that name has been used twice already. Some good bookings though

However.... One of the best sets I've heard from AME (only part of the crew I know) was at Pacha with Solomun last August. Never thought AME would work there was brilliant!

I'd doubt it will be at Pacha. At the beginning of Dixon's essential mix he talked about thinking he's fallen out of love with Ibiza and what it has become (which I presume includes all of the VIP nonsense pacha is famous for) until he played one day at Circo Loco last summer.

So DC10 seems like a good shout.

Can't see it at Sankeys but would like it!
