Since when were openings in April??

Hi all.

Been a while. I’m clearly abit out of the loop.

But since when did the openings happen in April.


Assuming it’s to get a longer season, but wow they always used to start with Bora Bora opening in June.

When I worked at Rocks back in 2014 (my lord) it was June openings I believe!

Basically moved back a week every 2 years!

The clubbing season always opened and closed with Space !
opening in April is new, since 2022, first full season after 2 years of closure due to Covid (2021, some clubs opened in October for 2.3 parties but that's all )

Bora Bora opening was always before Space opening. We’ll certainly up to around 2008.

Bora bora always opened before Space yes, but the start of the clubbing season has always been when Space opens

It used to be the only time they opened up the inside part (along with closing). And yes it was always tied in with Space dates.

Regarding next year, i've got a feeling we might get an even earlier start.

Easter falls very late in 2025 (weekend of 20 April). That's a week before the opening weekend of the last three years.
