After blowing us away in late June, the Drum & Bass duo Sigma brough their full live show back to Ibiza Rocks...
New Grime sensation Bonkaz (Taylor Jordan-Harris) was first to hit the stage.
Backed by Complexion on the decks, the South London artist played various songs from the EP he's working on right now, like the left-field Rap ballad "Pretty Brown Eyes", but the highlight of the performance was his debut single "We Run The Block". Curious to see his photographer friend on the stage snapping and dancing the whole time with so much enthusiasm... next time give him a tambourine or something!
By the way, yesterday afternoon he joined by surprise the Ibiza Rocks boat party.
Patrick Nazemi's set was over and it was time for the headliners, who appeared on stage waving two big Sigma banners. Cam and Joe were again backed by Paul Jones on drums and MC Justyce, Daniel Pearce (who came in july with Dizzee Rascal) and Zoe Kypri on vocals.
Still no release date for their eagerly awaited debut album Life, which should come out at some point this year. Apart from the already known songs "Redemption" (their brand new single), "Higher", "Glitterball", "Changing" and "Nobody To Love", they also played other material from the album and covered "Diamonds" by Rihanna and "Show Me Love" by Robin S. They brought Majestic again as special guest, this time not only for "Lighters" but also for "Feel It", which included a sit-down!
Straight after the gig they did a dj set at the official afterparty at Ibiza Rocks Bar.
