Last week Ibiza Rocks wrote yet another page in its brilliant history by bringing Ian Brown to the island for a concert that will be remembered for a veryveryvery long time, with such classics as "I wanna be adored" and "Fools gold". This week another Manchester band headlining: The Courteeners!

Newcomers Goldhawks were first on stage. Having had the chance to listen only their singles, I was curious to hear more of their stuff. While the 80's-U2 comparisons are inevitable, the band possess enough good songs to catch your attention. Looking forward to hear their soon to be released debut album (planned for august)!

BBC Radio 1's Toddla T kept people dancing till the main act appeared. By the way, it haven't been officially announced yet but according to his MySpace he will be at Ibiza Rocks again on august 31st... coolio!

Morrissey favourites The Courteeners returned to Ibiza two years later presenting their new album "Falcon". What can I say? I can't resist to their catchy songs and sing-a-long choruses so I had a ball... judging by all the happy faces around me I wasn't the only one!

Tremendous night yesterday. Soulwax are on next week and they always put up an energetic show so it will be good to see them again!

Favourite moment of the night: you over did it doll... you over did it doll... erm, "You over did it doll" by The Courteeners

It was mental. We had bikini babes gyrating away in the heat.

Forty-five minutes before I went onstage I smashed my hand through an eight-foot glass door.

I opened it wrong and it shattered into a million pieces.

One shard got stuck in my shoulder blade, it was pretty gory and bloody.

Maybe I should have covered myself in bandages and then I could have got lots of attention.

We went to Es Paradis after and JON (MCCLURE) from REVEREND AND THE MAKERS was DJing.

He played a bit of PULP, so I got onstage and sang Disco 2000 at the top of my lungs.

I must have looked like a k**b, but at the time I thought I was ELVIS.
