There seem to be endless tributes doing the rounds and rightly so. I went to a party in hackney on friday and these all featured at sone point:
'Your Love' - strictly speaking jamie principle's tune tho it's mainly associated with knuckles (later (in)famously sampled by the source/candi staton for the benefit of heart fm listeners)
'Let the music use you' - alongside mr fingers can u feel it, arguably the greatest, most uplifting house record of them all.
'Baby wants to ride' - jamie principle again. The explicit mix is not one to play to your grandma..
'Tears' - i actually prefer the B side, but both are still classics
'Blind' - his remix of hercules & love affair is only 4/5 years old but it has rapidly established itself as one of the all time greats. The warmth in that music has generated many an e hug everywhere i've heard it and it offered proof that knuckles still had it late on in his career.
