- Eden will be back next year -

Not sure if going back to the Eden brand will help, that brand is pretty tarnished too after a few poor summers.

Not sure what the future of this club holds, I can't help but feel there is just too much competition for events now. You can't realistically see them poaching any even half decent names off the other clubs. Maybe its future is as an 'all you can drink' type club like BCM in Magaluf, that suggestion won't please those who go to Ibiza for the music! but I just can't see any other options.

I think they'll have to choose whether to go back to the slightly cheesy Eden of old or embrace the modern and try to push some more credible, underground nights like Sankeys. A huge number of people which visit Sankeys are staying in San An so there must be some demand. What brands they can try to attract to put on these nights I have no idea?

maybe creche might come back if Gatecrasher are out the picture. Or a new promoter like Magna Carta might step up...

Wonder what nights they'll be able to attract? the 3 half decent/busy nights they had in their last season have went elsewhere on the island. judgement, toolroom & ferrys night, ferrys is the only 1 i can going back to eden. ed paradis probably suits judgement better because its smaller than eden & judge jules following has got smaller since he left radio 1. Booom probably suits toolroom better as well because its a smaller venue, was in eden for toolroom last summer & be lucky if it was half full. Maybe try to get Pete Tong back for a residency on the island.

I went to Speakerboxx at Gatecrasher in June for MistaJam and Major Lazer (managed to get free wristbands from a PR so thought we'd give it a go) and I was impressed by the club itself and they've clearly spent A LOT of money on it since its days as Eden. Disappointingly the place was pretty empty and I'd imagine over half of the few hundred people inside hadn't paid to get in.

If we'd paid for a ticket it would have been 35 euros and inside the drink prices were exactly the same as the other big clubs. So if you want a cheap night to save money then Gatecrasher doesn't really present that option. Especially when it's a five minute walk from San Antonio strip, where people can get free entry and cheap drinks in any bar they wish.

The club needs to try something different in terms of ticket pricing, drink prices and line ups if its going to succeed in San Antonio. It can never compete in terms of history, reputation and nostalgia with the likes of Amnesia, Space, Pacha etc and if it keeps trying it's going to keep failing.

Wouldn't imagine that night would ever hit off anyway, not Ibiza is it? Cream, ENTER, FMIF on the same night both get ridiculously busy and CUFF at Sankeys gets a decent turn out

The most logical residency would be to get MK? Bring in a massive number of Brits staying in San An, plus i think he suits the venue.

Also a progressive night would fair well i think, Something like Hardwells Revealed Label hosting a night or Afrojack?

Couldn't see a Techno night in that venue.

whatever they decide they have to box clever

no trance nights up against Cream etc
maximum their potential

can't see any credible 'underground' night going there since it didn't work out for creche this year. in previous creche had some well good events on the island. they had solid bookings this summer too. Theres just alot better venues that you can do 'underground' on the island.
agree with no trance on a thursday, or on any other big trance nights. think a trance/progressive night would work. but like said above has to be on the right night.
